Monoethanolamine 99% is a clear, colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor. It offers a broad spectrum of application opportunities, primarily in detergents, personal care products, textile finishing and wood treating. Because Monoethanolamine combines the properties of amines and alcohols, it exhibits the unique capability of undergoing reactions common to both groups. Other applications include use as “downhole” in oilwell chemicals, in metalworking to prevent corrosion, and in the manufacture of flexible and rigid urethane foams.
