Trioctyl Trimellitate (TOTM) plasticizer is a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid with a mild odor. It is the ideal PVC plasticizer for use in applications where low volatility is highly important like wire and cable insulation and interior automotive. Trioctyl Trimellitate is also a primary plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride resins and copolymers. Its unique properties like low temperature flexibility and resistance to oxidative degradation allow it to be blended with other general purpose plasticizers with a high degree of compatibility.
