Tetraethylenepentamine is an off-white liquid with no odor. It is primarily used as a curing agent for epoxy resins and also functions as a corrosion inhibitor, surfactant and mineral processing aid. Tetraethylenepentamine can also be used as an additive in fuel and lubricating oils, as a sealant and for thermoplastic polyamide resins.
